we had an amazing stay during the christmas party. everything was clean and well-presented, and the breakfast featured proper poached eggs with gluten-free toast. the helpfulness of the host really stood out, especially when they provided us with packed lunches for our hikes.

Had a blast with friends! We hiked up Pen y Fan and visited a local market. The place is spotless, with a cozy room and a fabulous breakfast. Christine was super helpful, making us an early packed lunch and even drying my wet clothes after hiking. Highly recommend for a fun getaway!

We had some trouble with parking. it was a bit challenging but they did help us find a solution.

    delicious breakfast
    cozy room
    relaxing garden
    cold shower

I just spent a night in a cozy small double room where the breakfast was spot on with delish smoked salmon and scrambled eggs. I loved relaxing in the TV lounge and enjoying some time in the garden. Just a heads-up—the shower was a bit cold when I tried it early, but it didn’t ruin my experience at all! 😊

    exceptional service
    delicious breakfasts
    room not serviced

The hosts provided exceptional service, anticipating needs like packed lunches and even offering to dry wet clothes after our hike. Every breakfast was a delight, featuring options like a full English and pancakes that were perfectly cooked. The room was cozy, equipped with thoughtful touches such as fresh milk and hot chocolate, making it a very inviting space. On a minor note, our room wasn't serviced during our stay, but that didn’t detract from the overall experience.

    warm welcome
    delicious breakfast
    limited family activities

Staying with our large family, including 5 teenagers and 2 children, we loved the warm welcome from Christine and her helpful tips on local sights. The breakfast was delicious and set us up perfectly for our walks in the beautiful countryside nearby.

My kids wished there were more activities on-site for families.

    comfy bed
    fresh milk
    spotless cleanliness
    noisy road
    light sleeper issue

The room was super comfy with nice decor. Fresh milk in the fridge was a great touch, and the bed felt like a cloud. Everything was spotless, which made a big difference. Just a heads up though, the road outside was a bit noisy, so light sleepers might want to request a quieter room. the environment was cozy and welcoming.

    well-stocked mini fridge
    tiny bathroom

Christine was a gem, helping me settle in and giving fab dinner tips. The mini fridge stocked with cold water made my stay even sweeter! Plus, a glass of wine to cap off the evening—who doesn’t love a good red?

The bathroom was so small it practically gave me a hug! Just remember to duck when you're in there!
